At Yorkshire Battery, we want to make sure our customers as well as our employees our families remain safe during these extraordinary, ever-changing times.  The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has had an impact on us all.  We know purchasing a vehicle or having your car serviced is not a high priority.  We want you to know that we have taken necessary steps to ensure that everyone is safe while we assist you and your family with your vehicle needs.

For your protection and that of our associates, we have taken the following steps within the service areas of our stores:

  • We’ve implemented an increased cleaning schedule of our waiting area to include sanitizing door handles, counters, chairs, water and coffee stations, as well as using disinfecting wipes in vehicles several times a day.
  • Our team is practicing social distancing and are committed to good hygiene including frequent hand washing and cleaning their work areas before and after each customer or vehicle interaction. Our Technicians as a precaution are wearing rubber gloves during their time with your vehicle.
  • Each and every employee, and staff have been instructed to stay home if they do not feel well.  Employees are only allowed to return to work when symptom-free or with a doctor’s note.  They are to report any suspected exposure to COVID-19.
